Our Care
Lisheen is a two-story building, built on a landscaped site with views of the countryside. We are located in Rathcoole Village just off the N7 in South County Dublin. Rathcoole is approximately 15 Kms from Dublin City Centre, close to shops, community centre, churches and Avoca Handweavers.
Lisheen Nursing Home is designed to provide a homely living environment so that when you walk through the door you feel comfortable and at ease.
Our aim is to provide care for any person over 18 years of age who requires assistance with activities of daily living. This includes the provision of care for those persons suffering from impairment in memory, judgement, language skills and deterioration in social skills.
Our Approach
We provide care for people living with dementia. We support them in their illness while promoting health and wellbeing.

We also provide care to those persons who are living with a physical and or intellectual disabilities who can no longer live unsupported in society but whose needs can be met by a supportive care environment.
We have for many years provided Day Care for persons in the locality for periods of time prior to hospital / nursing home admission. This has been a great benefit to many families and can also make the transition into long term care easier for the resident.

Our ethos is to put the interests of the resident at the heart of our decision making and aim to provide high quality person centred nursing care to all residents of our nursing home.
